Hey There - previously, I'd been able to build flooring through the window on the second floor of a house - basically creating a second-storey deck on an existing house. Could do it by going up to the second floor window, opening it, and building a floor tile immediately outside the window.If the item appears on the floor, pick it up again and aim your mouse below the tiles you're trying to place on, you should see when you are hovering over the correct tile just by moving the mouse around til you find it. Right click the item you want to place and a tab should open saying 'Place Item.

How do I get planks!The problem that i'm going to guess is, since you barricaded from the inside you can't properly click the planks. Try to right click different place on the plank or barricade it once on the outside and try to remove it from the inside to see if it removes the inside plank first. 2.
