How to disassemble a maytag washing machine
Shut off water. Turn off the water supply valves located where the water hoses attach to the washing machine. This prevents water leaks during the repair. Release water pressure. Disconnect the hose from the water inlet and run the Maytag washer to drain remaining water from the line.
