Creaking noise driving me crazy! I have a 2018 CRV touring with 7700mi on it. I get a creaking noise when I go over certain bumps and it is very pronounced when going over speed bumps. Seems like it is coming from the right rear but not 100% sure. The tires wore down to the "wear bars" at about 38.5K miles and still noisy. We are relatively moderate drivers, easy on the gas, brakes and turns, and about an equal mix of highway driving and local. We replaced them with Michelin Premier LTX. I have a 2005 Honda CR-V with about 97,000 miles on it. I recently noticed that there’s a rattling sound when the car is idle but it disappear when driving. The noise can only heard outside. It is also intermittent. I just had the idler pulley/Belt Tensioner replaced a couple of days ago as a friend thought that was the issue.The last few days my CR-V started this rattling noise. It first happened just after the starter motor was replaced, by a mechanic.
