I would check alignment between the cylinder and the barrel before firing. Pull the hammer to position 2, and spin the cylinder through at least 3 times to ensure it is unloaded, pull the hammer all the way back, and look down the barrel. If alignment is good, you shouldn't have any issues firing the gun. 2.I do have a RR also, never experienced your specific issue but it's common to have to also 'fiddle' with the cylinder to get everything to line up.
