When crawfish die, they start producing a poisonous bacteria that kills other crawfish, and can make people sick. Even if 2/3rds of the sack is alive, that dead 1/3rd ruins the lot. Also it's nearly impossible to accurately predict sales for the weekend. We had about 5 sacks left over this morning, but sold ~60 sacks the past few days.H‑E‑B in Houston at W.
