As the title says I developed a program for Opencomputers that monitors a Nuclearcraft Fission Reactor. It's a fairly simple program. It features automation of turning off a reactor when it's heat or power output gets too high, and turning on a reactor when the heat and energy levels drop. It also displays certain text information on the fuel ...There is a reactor planner for NC reactors. You can use that to get a good idea on how your reactor will work. And because the values of fuel and stuff change per pack, you can change the values manually to match your packs values or import the config file directly into the program.

A fission reactor was designed to work with coolers, otherwise you'd just fill it with cells and moderators and switch it on and off, which totally defeats the purpose. The dev for NuclearCraft himself demonstrates how to do this on YouTube.
