Ffxiv no sound
For some reason, FFXIV does not launch with sound, at all. There are times when, after leaving the starting screen and re-joining, it will give me sound, but with this patch, every time I have launched the game (which has been roughly 30 times) I have been unable to get sound. Updating all my drivers, from graphics to audio. Changing headphones.I have no idea why that worked I was just trying random things and the moment I disabled it FF14 sound starting playing. I have done no recording and have no mics. I just hook my laptop up to my external speakers every now and then and maybe that changed something. Just wanted to update for anybody who may search this later.

Assuming you are using windows 10, click on the speaker icon close to the clock. This will show a volume slider and a name above it. The name represents which audio device windows is sending sound to. When you click the name it's possible you get a list of names. Those are all available audio devices.
