My advice is to set the generator settings to this: very big and frequent water, normal-big starting area. If it doesn't give you a peninsula, you still will have something with decent choke points. Tried that for like 30min, kept getting terrible starts so dug through this sub bit and im content with this.Tired of tiring to generate a decent map for a mega factory and getting the same dense forest map over and over again.
