And it will damage steel targets. That being said, if you cannot find loading data on 62gn bullets, I would start with data for something close, like for 65gn bullets. jmho.I've been researching reloading data and wondering the same thing so emailed Hogdon about using CFE223 in 6.5 Grendel. Look at the Hodgdon reloading page. They have data for the 77gr SMK and CFE223. I personally did not find any nodes with CFE223 that beat my TAC loads for velocity, SD, and group size in 77gr bullets. I'm hearing good things about this powder, and I'm thinking about switching from H-335 because of the Copper Fouling Eraser it contains. On my rifles both give good accuracy but what stands out to me is the lower SD, higher velocity and I can go a little longer before cleaning. I also use AR Comp for one of my bolt 308's with darn good results.
