I doubt you would have a problem with 75-140. Ford makes a 75-140 synthetic that is the specified lube for the rear diff in my Expedition. I was thinking about putting that in the VTX- it's more of a heavy duty oil- Plus- any synthetic will flow at very low temps- even in Alaska. That is one of their advantages.
